Service Description

Up the adventure and paddle yourself down the Upper Middle Fork Willamette River! Inflatable kayaks (IKs) are a great introduction to experiencing whitewater kayaking. No experience necessary, IKs look like canoes, paddle like a kayak and inflate like a raft. Your guide will give you instruction and guidance from their own kayak. WHAT'S INCLUDED: -A professional, knowledgeable, medically trained, friendly whitewater kayak guide -Transportation to the river (pickup and drop off at the Westfir Lodge or Westfir takeout) -A commitment to make the trip safe, exciting, challenging, and informative -River Mileage: 5.5 -Class II+ whitewater -River gear (pfd, paddle, helmet, kayak) -Riverside deli lunch WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED (RECOMMENDED) -Closed toed and secured sneakers or booties -Waterproof rain jacket or splash jacket -Warm wool or fleece top (May and September) -Warm hat and gloves (May and September) -Sunglasses with croakies or strap -Knee braces (if needed) -Sunscreen -Camera -Gratuity for your guide

Cancellation Policy

Fully refundable up until 7 days prior to your date. At this time, the tour is 100% non-refundable. If the tour minimum has not been met, we will alert guests 48 hours before the tour in order to re-schedule or cancel the tour. Cascades Outdoor Center reserves the right to change or cancel a reservation if the tour minimums are not met. All of our tours will run rain or shine. There will be no refunds for weather conditions. Cascades Outdoor Center will make the determination to conduct or cancel trips with your safety in mind. If the trip needs to be cancelled due to conditions (temps, thunderstorms, smoke etc.), there will be no refund. We will: Work with you to reschedule your event or hold your payment on file for another tour date.
