Dead Mountain Shuttle

Service Description

The upper part of the trail is flowy with lots of rollers to pump for speed but plenty of side hill to keep you honest. The lower section opens up with faster, straighter segments, the trees flying by in a blur of emerald green in your peripheral vision. The corners come up fast when you’re moving at speed so get ready to haul on the brakes so you don’t overshoot the turns. After five glorious miles of descending you’ll end at the lower trail head off Salmon Creek Road. If your vehicle isn’t here and you need to head into Oakridge, you can keep heading downhill and hop on the Salmon Creek Trail for a pleasant creek-side spin back into downtown. Distance: 5 miles Climb: 923ft Descent: 3295ft *If shuttle minimums are not met, shuttle may be moved to another departure time or cancelled with refund.

Cancellation Policy

Fully refundable up until 7 days prior to your date. At this time, the tour is 100% non-refundable. If the tour minimum has not been met, we will alert guests 48 hours before the tour in order to re-schedule or cancel the tour. Cascades Outdoor Center reserves the right to change or cancel a reservation if the tour minimums are not met. All of our tours will run rain or shine. There will be no refunds for weather conditions. Cascades Outdoor Center will make the determination to conduct or cancel trips with your safety in mind. If the trip needs to be cancelled due to conditions (temps, thunderstorms, smoke etc.), there will be no refund. We will: Work with you to reschedule your event or hold your payment on file for another tour date.
